The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing people, processes and systems that ensure the highest safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Ensures that all products and services meet or exceed government, industry and company specifications. Ensures that the company’s strategy for quality products and customer satisfaction be responsive, effective, and reach all areas of the organization with special emphasis on the constant concern for product liability.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Adheres to all PCI safety and work rules as dictated in the employee manual
Develops, reviews, approves, initiates and implements standards and methods for inspection, testing, and product evaluation before release into the ProCoat System Document Center
Reviews, oversees, plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of the assigned process
Develops, reviews and approves procedures, forms, and instructions within the QMS
Establishes programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production and Quality Control processes, measurement, and analyzes equipment and facilities used for process verification
Oversees the documentation of data obtained during all quality activities consistent with company policies and procedures
Communicates to appropriate personnel and management significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and provides recommended process improvements to management
Prepares and presents technical and program information to team members and management
Establish working relationships with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Control, Marketing, and Purchasing to maintain quality throughout the ordering and manufacturing cycle and to minimize the potential for non-conforming parts.
Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry regulatory (NADCAP, AS9100 etc.) quality codes and standards
Provides interpretive support of customer drawings, specifications and regulations assuring that process operators have clear understanding of appropriate customer requirements
Communicates with customer(s) concerning Quality issues/matters including but not limited to process performance, process failures, NOE’s to customer etc.
Clean, organize and maintain work area as prescribed by manager
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Interviewing new employee candidates and making recommendations for hire
Assuring that appropriate training is scheduled and performed,
Appraising performance of direct reports, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems
